One of the elements that I'm very passionate about as an artist and a business owner is my website. It is my face to the world. Google analytics show just how many customers visit my website and how important it is as a way for people to learn more about me and my work. Lots of people first see my work at the various art events and other art and craft fairs that I participate in. But many more (including visitors from USA, Brazil, Italy and France) see my work for the first time online. Therefore, I'm passionate about continually updating my website and keeping it looking at its best. More importantly, I am committed to ensuring that my website is truly representative of me as an artist and me as a business owner.
And with that in mind, I've done quite a lot of work on updating my website - from the necessary uploading of images of my newest work, to changing the layout to be more user friendly, to improving the about me and FAQs section so you can learn more about me and what I do as well as adding a testimonial section showing some of my more recent customer feedback. To make the online shopping experience more user friendly, I've also added a great new shop by series section as well as a fantastic shop by colour section where all of my artwork is able to be viewed by colour - whether it's red, blue or green. Lastly, with the Christmas season upon us, I've introduced the ability for customers to purchase gift vouchers on my website as well for those who want to purchase artwork as a gift but are not quite sure which specific piece of art will suit.
Take a look at the new and improved website and let me know what you think - I'd love to hear your feedback!
