Wandsworth Arts Fringe Festival - Artist Studio Open House - May 7-8

You're invited to my Artist Open House in Southfields (Southwest London) as part of the annual Wandsworth Arts Fringe Festival! My home art studio will be open all weekend from 10 am to 6 pm both Saturday May 7th and Sunday May 8th. For the official full press release, see below.   My exhibition for the Wandsworth Arts Fringe Festival is entitled "Gold Lust" and it will primarily showcase my latest artwork featuring gold leaf. Seascape Paintings – my inspiration for my waterscape abstract artwork

People often wonder what my inspiration is for my Seascape paintings. Of course, there is the obvious – the sea. But it goes much deeper than that. I love nature and its ability to transform us. On the Plain - the Inspiration behind my new landscape series

Some of my newest paintings (my On The Plain series) feature stark bold landscapes. Full of drama, they showcase expansive skies, metallic earth and golden trees.  For a while now, I’ve wanted to do a series focused on landscapes - the more dramatic the better.  My inspiration for these series is the nature that I have been lucky to see.  Having travelled to more than 50 countries, I've been lucky enough to witness some wonderful nature - including Iceland's stark landscapes, the green rolling hills dotted with trees of the UK, and the big skies and dramatic expanses of the American Southwest (such as this blood red sky landscape).  They all inspire me to put on paper the colour, mood...
